The Fruit of Grisaia is the first of a series of visual novels by Front Wing, which features character designs by Akio Watanabe and Fumio. PlayStation Portable and PlayStation Vita versions were later released after the Windows version was released in February 2011.
The Eden of Grisaia was released in May 2013 and Grisaia: The Labyrinth was launched in February 2012 for Windows. A worldwide English release of all three games has been authorized by Sekai Project as of 2015.

Two manga adaptations have been published by Akita Shoten and Mag Garden, respectively. NBCUniversal aired a 13-episode anime TV series that was based on and produced by the network between October and December of 2014.
