The goal of Technical Alpha Testing is to identify and fix the defects that will occur in the early versions of the game, both online and offline. This includes fine-tuning the game’s fundamental mechanisms under heavy demand, checking game locations for potential difficulties, and more.
We plan to roll out access to the Technical Alpha Test in phases, with the first phase focused on finding issues with early access and cargo distribution. Players that placed their orders early will be among the first to participate in Technical Testing since the waves will be formed according to the time of pre-order. We anticipate that all qualified pre-order owners will be allowed access to Alpha within two weeks and that we will roll out the update in waves separated by one or two days.

The Left Behind Edition, the Sting of the Darkness Edition, and the inure Escape Edition are all available for pre-order. Owners of properties on the Periphery of Darkness have guaranteed access, while those in Left Behind have the twenty-fifth chance of survival and those in Inured Escape a five-hundredth chance.
Pre-orders placed during the Alpha testing phase will be automatically distributed to one of the subsequent waves as they become available.
Various server-related, graphic, technical, etc. issues are naturally considered throughout Technical Alpha Testing. The performance boosts made to the game before the Alpha release are not set in stone and can be made again and again in subsequent updates.
The current issues and errors will be fixed as soon as possible, and new features and material will be added to the game as soon as possible. Players should also anticipate periodic game updates for testing and gameplay calibration purposes, as well as regular profile resets (erasing all associated data).
The events of “Escape from Tarkov” take place in the made-up Norvinsk region of northwestern Russia, namely in and around a “Special economic zone” that acts as a gateway between Russia and Europe. The town of Tarkov, however, became the epicenter of a major political scandal involving crooked companies in the Norvinsk region as a result of this influx of money, which attracted businesses with shady intentions. In the subsequent six months, an armed confrontation broke out between Russian Interior Troops, United Nations peacekeepers, and private military firms United Security (USEC) and BEAR. People who had become treed in the midst of the native struggle were cut off from the outside world when the frontiers of the Norvinsk region were sealed. One of the unscrupulous companies involved in the affair, Terra cluster, hired USEC to obstruct inquiries during the conflict, while the Russian government hired BEAR to uncover evidence pertaining to Terra cluster.
The player’s ultimate goal is to leave Tarkov behind by joining one of these private military companies.
Even though we’re in the 21st century, some video game creators still use ludicrous justifications for why female players can’t assume control of certain characters. This time it comes from Battlestate Games, the developers of the popular military survival simulator Go Tarkov, who have provided two convenient reasons for why you still can’t play as a female character in the game despite widespread player demand.
The Russian creator addressed the lack of female playable characters “because of game cognitive content” on Twitter, so that’s the best excuse we can provide. Battlestate appears to be implying that its game, which is set in a made-up region of Russia and has an armed struggle between made-up private military firms, doesn’t have a storyline that promotes female warriors, though this isn’t made apparent.
Despite the overwhelming narrative evidence of female characters being present in nearly all post-apocalyptic novels (since, you know, females exist) and in nearly all other military survival sims and battle royale shooters, this is still the case.
Excuse number 2 could be a little too direct: “there will be no playable female characters because… of the tremendous amount of work involved with animations, gear fitting, etc.”
