The prequel to Baldur’s Gate II: Shadows of Amn, Siege of Dragonspear, was released on March 31, 2016.
As part of Beamdog and Atari’s Overhaul Games division, a computer game based on the Baldur’s Gate novel was updated and re-released as Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition. There is also an entirely new field experience called The Black Pits that was borrowed from the sequel Baldur’s Gate II: Shadows of Amn, as well as a number of other upgrades that were taken from Baldur’s Gate I: The Sword Coast.

For instance, there’ll be the Black Pits, which will allow players to construct an expedition of up to six explorers and face increasingly difficult foes; four new characters, each of whom has their own exchange and some of whom have their own associated tasks; reward journey enemies that have been added and are described as representing a “more fiery challenge;” and four new class units — Dwarven Defender, Shadowdancer, Dragon Disciple. Enemies in Story Mode can be easily damaged and killed, despite the fact that the party members have a strong detail of 25 (regardless of their genuine value). Easy Trouble has been updated. Additionally, with Version 2.3.6, the user interface was reworked, greater goals could be played as well as several review modes, including widescreen. The game’s flexibility to mods was also bolstered with a new renderer.
